Mark RaboMark received his first camera through his father’s hands at the age of ten, a point and click Kodak film camera. He cost his parents hundreds of dollars in film processing but created a visual cross-section of his childhood, something that would influence his work going forward. Mark sees photography as a way of telling stories, each frame a like a breadcrumb along the path showing us where we’ve been.

A strong curiosity and fascination with people and their worlds has led Mark to shoot with equal interest concerts and yoga artists, charity events and urban landscapes, parkouring and motorcycle stunt riding. An adventurer himself, you’ll often catch him with backpack equipped and camera in-hand on his way to explore somewhere new.

He shoots a style of photography he calls ‘observational’, capturing photos as a fly on the wall and although often difficult, he finds it to reveal the true emotions of the moment.

When kicking back, you’ll find Mark riding motorcycles, flying with buddies, or at the local Best Buy nerding out with the staff on gadgets. Toronto is homebase and life is good.
